Choosing Love at the End of the World: Social Collapse, Conflict Resolution, and Queer Resilience

Join author, healer, and conflict worker Kai Cheng Thom for an experiential exploration of collective trauma, conflict, and their impact on queer communities. Why are the bonds between queer and trans individuals so powerful, yet so often fraught with tension and discord? Where do so-called “call out” and “cancel” culture come from, and do they serve or disserve us? How do we choose to love one another in the face of interpersonal and social collapse? Kai Cheng will draw from trauma theory, queer history, transformative justice, and Buddhist spirituality to provide participants with frameworks and strategies to understand and respond to conflict.
