Test Now: Community Edition

Free HIV Self-Test Kits

CBRC’s Test Now program provides free HIV self-test kits to 2S/LGBTQ+ folks through a network of dozens of community-based organizations and venues across the country. These kits will allow people to access HIV testing where they want, when they want, and in a private and confidential setting. This reduces common barriers to traditional forms of HIV testing, empowering more people to know their status.

With low barriers to access, Test Now makes obtaining HIV self-test kits as simple as going to a local community-based organization you trust, answering a few (optional) questions, and leaving with a kit. Each organization has the flexibility to distribute HIV self-test kits in the way that makes the most sense for their organization and the communities they serve. Some participating organizations even offer delivery and mail options. Test Now will also be making HIV self-test kits available to dozens of queer/trans-owned or friendly businesses (bars, bathhouses and bookstores) across Canada to distribute.

To find a participating organization or venue near you, click on your province or territory in the list below. Specific details concerning HIV self-test kit access may differ from organization to organization. Note: This program will roll out through December, with more organizations and businesses added to the list as they come onboard.
