Intersectional Affirming Care explores affirming care as a central principle of service provision and practice. This course focuses on preparing and empowering service providers with the practical skills and knowledge needed to effectively deliver services to 2S/LGBTQIA+ community members. Participants will engage in self-driven activities about affirmation and affirming care, which include opportunities to critically reflect on systemic and personal attitudes prevalent in healthcare systems.
