Quick Reference Guide: Taking a GBT2Q-affirming sexual history

Taking a complete, culturally competent, and affirming sexual history means clients who are gay, bi, trans, Two-Spirit, and queer men (GBT2Q) can be offered the appropriate sexually transmitted and blood borne infection (STBBI) screening and preventive care, cancer screening, referrals, and other care. Much of the following information can be applied to the broader Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual community at large.
