Alex Wells is a PhD student in the Social Dimensions of Health program at the University of Victoria. Their research looks at the role that LGBTQ2S specific sports organizations play in LGBTQ2S people's health and resilience. Prior to their Phd, they worked as the Group Programming Coordinator and as a researcher at the ACT in Toronto. They have over ten years of work, volunteer and activist experience with LGBTQ2S communities and organizations.
