Preparing For The Arrival of HIV Self-Testing

On June 17, the Gay Men's Sexual Health Alliance brought together Alliance-linked staff from across Ontario for a webinar on HIV self-testing. The expected approval by Health Canada and entry of the HIV self-test into the market raises a number of critical questions in our sexual health and HIV work with GBTQ2+ communities.

In this webinar, Chris Draenos, CBRC's National STBBI Testing and Linkage Implementation Manager, joined Dane Griffiths, GMSH's Executive Director to provide important updates on the regulatory status of HIV-ST, review current evidence for HIV-ST as part of a combination approach to HIV prevention for GBTQ2+ men, and identify opportunities for collaboration in these efforts.
