Mpox is a viral infection which has predominantly impacted gay, bi, trans, Two-Spirit, and queer men (GBT2Q) in Canada. Transmission first occurred in Canada as part of a multi-country outbreak in 2022, and while incidence has dropped significantly after the first wave, there is growing recognition of mpox as an endemic disease in Canada.
