Quinta Seon is a new grad postdoctoral researcher and community member. Both her professional and grassroots commitments centre identifying opportunities for furthering equity in mental health, racialized and 2S/LGBTQIA+ contexts. She earned her PhD in mental health from McGill University on traditional territories of Kanien’kehà in Tiotiah’ke. Her research has been published in leading journals including Nature Mental Health and The Lancet Regional Health – Americas, and supported by competitive awards such as the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) doctoral fellowship.
