Study on Suicide Prevention

As many as 1 in 5 gay and bisexual men have attempted suicide. We don’t know why.

A research study in Vancouver and Toronto is gathering personal life-stories of men who have attempted suicide as an adult, in order to better understand this important issue.

If you…

  • Identify as a gay, bisexual, queer, or two-spirit man or trans-man, or are sexually attracted to other men,
  • Are 30 years of age or older,
  • Have attempted suicide since age 21, and
  • Are 2 years beyond your most recent suicide attempt

… then we are interested in hearing your story in a confidential 1-on-1 interview.

By participating you will help to improve suicide prevention efforts that work for our communities.
