More than 400 people took part in Summit 2022, CBRC’s annual knowledge exchange and capacity building conference on queer and trans health. This year’s event was hybrid, with events taking place both online (October 18-20) and in Vancouver (October 27-28). We also hosted our first in-person Two-Spirit Symposium (October 25-26), which brought together Two-Spirit leaders, Elders, and community members, to further Two-Spirit resurgence of health and wellness. This year’s theme was Pushing Possibilities, which allowed us to discuss new ways to navigate through a global pandemic and strained healthcare system. As people and systems settle into once-deemed impossible practices, we asked ourselves: what new and other limitations must we break for 2S/LGBTQ+ communities to thrive in this next era?
