Summit 2023: Call for Proposals

We are thrilled to launch the Summit 2023 Call for Proposals! This year, our conference taking place from November 16th to 17th, in Vancouver, BC will bring together diverse voices, impactful research, and innovative strategies for improving health outcomes for the 2S/LGBTQ+ communities.

The theme for Summit 2023 is Together in Action. As we forge ahead in combating anti-trans, and anti-queer hate, it is crucial that we unite, share knowledge, and inspire one another to create tangible and lasting change. Summit 2023 will continue to highlight efforts to better understand and respond to the health priorities in our communities, but with a focus on showcasing research, programs, and initiatives that underscore the importance – and power – of queer, trans, and Two-Spirit people mobilizing together for our health and wellbeing.

Now is your chance to shape the conversation and inspire attendees by submitting your proposals for sessions, presentations, workshops, panel discussions, poster presentations, and more. We welcome submissions from anyone and everyone, including passionate individuals, organizations, and experts across various disciplines, such as healthcare providers, researchers, Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers, community activists, and policymakers.

The deadline to submit is July 23rd. We encourage you to showcase your groundbreaking work, share personal experiences, and offer practical strategies that can transform healthcare for queer individuals in your community. This is your platform to engage, educate, and empower participants to influence the future of 2S/LGBTQ+ health.

We welcome submissions from first-time presenters, so please reach out to [email protected] if you need help preparing your presentation proposal.

Remember, your voice matters, and your actions can make a difference. Join us at Summit 2023 and let's be Together in Action!
