The Our Health: Canada-Wide 2SLGBTQQIA+ Community Study has wrapped! Thank you to all the community members who shared their experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic, chronic health conditions, and community wellbeing with us. Your voices will help us advocate for the health of our communities!
We would also like to thank our collaborators, Egale Canada, The Enchanté Network, and 2 Spirits in Motion Society, and our amazing community advisors for their support in making this project possible. Thanks also to the CRIP Collective and the many individual disabled 2SLGBTQQIA+ community members who supported the chronic health focus in the study.
Thanks to all our partners and participants who made Our Health possible! Together we:
- Surveyed thousands of 2SLGBTQQIA+ people
- Offered COVID-19 testing to over 1,800 participants, in every province and territory
We’ll have more findings available on our website in the coming months and will continue exploring 2SLGBTQQIA+ chronic health through an in-person study next summer. Keep an eye on our website for more details!
