Thanks for Participating in Sex Now / Test Now!

This summer, CBRC’s Sex Now survey travelled across Canada to hear from GBT2Q+ community members in every province and the Yukon. Thank you to everyone who added their voice to help us build a better world for our communities!

We couldn’t have done this without funding from CIHR REACH Nexus and the support of our amazing community partners across the country who made local data collection possible, including: Health Initiative for Men, Living Positive Resource Centre, Queer Yukon, the Centre for Sexuality, Queer & Trans Health Collective, Capital Pride Edmonton, OUTSaskatoon, Queen City Pride, Our Own Health Centre, MAX Ottawa, REZO, MIELS Québec, AIDS New Brunswick, PEERS Alliance, and AIDS Committee of Newfoundland & Labrador.

Thanks to all our partners and participants who made Sex Now 2022 possible! Together we:

  • Visited 20 communities
  • Surveyed over 4,000 GBT2Q+ people
  • Offered HIV self-testing to over 2,000 community members
  • Gave out over 2,800 HIV self-tests

Look for more findings from the study on our website in the coming months!
