In collaboration with healthcare providers across the country, CBRC developed a series of quick-reference guides to help providers deliver more effective and culturally competent sexual health care for GBT2Q people. Topics covered include HIV and STI screening and prevention, immunization, mpox, and taking sexual health histories.
If you are a healthcare provider, consider using these in your practice to enhance care delivery. For community members, community-based health organizations, or community leaders, consider sharing these with the healthcare providers you know.
Please note that these guides are living documents and will evolve as clinical guidance changes and new best practices emerge. If you have feedback that can improve these guides, please contact [email protected], with the subject line: "Attn: Quick Reference Guides for Healthcare Providers"
Quick Reference Guides:
- Screening and pharmacological prevention of sexually transmitted and blood borne infections for GBT2Q people
- Vaccine-preventable diseases and GBT2Q people
- Recognizing and responding to mpox
- Taking a GBT2Q-affirming sexual history
